Assistant Athletic Director for Development
Job Purpose:
The Assistant Athletic Director of the Charleston Athletic Fund assists in all Athletics-related fundraising, including the Cougar Club annual scholarship fund, sport-specific giving, capital and planned giving, and more. Primary responsibilities revolve around the cultivation and stewardship of Cougar Club annual scholarship fund donors, including the coordination of Premium Seating programs, Donor Hospitality, and other donor benefits.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and related experience required. Master’s preferred. Experience in collegiate athletics development or other non-profit or university fundraising, or sales, preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have current knowledge of NCAA Athletics and athletic fundraising strategies. Must be highly skilled in developing long-term, productive relationships with members, potential donors and the public. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy with Word, Excel, Raisers’ Edge, and Social Media.
Salary: *$57,106 - $88,047
